Fashion Dilemma

It is the usual hassle for us women thinking what to wear on important events in our lives such as weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, anniversaries, office event, Christmas parties and other tons of unexpected occasions even going out in the club with friends. These are just some of it that will come along in the way with your list.


I do know it because it is the usual problem we encounter in our daily lives. We run out of ideas thinking of what to wear on that special event without sacrificing your ego as a fashion enthusiast. And by that, people should not notice your outfit as a recycled one that you’ve already worn before, like it is a costume for you that you like to repeat it every now and then. We girls tend to do this fashion crime for certain reasons especially if you are under budget or you can’t find time to go shopping and you’ve just been invited today or the day before it, so all you can think of is what’s available inside your closet.

So here are some of my friendly tips that I can give you that might lessen or help your dilemma in repeating those fashion crimes without people noticing it and still a stand out in the crowd.

Having basic colors in your closet is a good investment for you. Having basics blacks, whites and grays or any earth tones will do because you can easily mix and match them with your other outfits in an instant. Like having a basic plain black dress, plain colored slacks, black skinny jeans, variety of plain button down shirts, basic cardigans, coats, suits and basic colors of stilettos.

Adding pastel colors is great theme for mixing and matching with your other basic colored dress or suit. It brings light or something special and eye catching to your outfit.

Having collection of accessories will also do the trick like long necklaces and scarf because it can change your look instantly.

Having tons of colored tank tops will also do the trick. It’s cheap, definitely affordable and it can change your outfit in an instant. You can pair it with a nice coat, cardigan or suit and just by adding some cool jewelries like long necklace or scarf with a cute handy purse/clutch with you. It will already transform your outfit from boring into that subtle but classy clean look without so much effort.

Basic colors of flats and loafers are also a nice investment.

Striking neon colored ones and embellished flats are also good in adding up spice to your casual wear to a whole new level of edginess. Wearing it with a dark toned skinny jeans and with your eye catching strikingly colored flats plus teaming it up with a plain colored suit it will definitely change up your party outfit to a whole new level.

Having these sense of endless creativity in mixing and matching things with your other outfits, and adding some pinch of wild imagination in your recipe of style. You can now easily full something out in your closet that can be truly satisfying with your taste of fashion without of course the hassle and the drama. Now you’re a self proclaimed fashion maven or guru without a doubt.
